“ My favorite place for a sweet treat on a hot day! Mr Lemon has the most unique slushy flavors. From tutti frutti to grape fruit, to margarita and red apple - you need to try them all! The couple who are always running the place are so sweet and kind. Also, you cannot beat the prices!! It is so affordable! Be aware that it is cash only before you go!! I'm patient waiting till they reopen next summer so I can get another slushy!! ”

“ So I don't have the knowledge to compare Mr. Lemon to other frozen lemonade places in town, but it's darn good nonetheless. I ran into it by chance coming through the neighborhood after finishing up work while visiting Providence, and I'm glad I did. In a few words, it's delicious, ice cold, and smooth. I had the watermelon flavor, which was excellent, so I'm not sure about the classic lemon flavor but I'm sure it's excellent as well. The guy working at the time I stopped (not sure if he was the owner or what) was pleasant and friendly, which I didn't find to be the norm for people in the area (?!), and I was glad to see a local business thriving. On the flipside, I did find the prices to be a bit high, but maybe that's just me. Nonetheless, this is a must stop and go. ”

“ Love Mr. Lemon! My hubby grew up on this stuff since he was a kid. The owners are so personable & kind. Flavors change sporadically, they post flavor updates on their fb page. Prices go up each year it seems but still worth the purchase to me. $4 for the largest cup they have which is an actual medium sized beverage cup. I like the consistency of the lemonade and the mix of flavor. My all time fave is lemon meringue. ”

“ Surprisingly given the business name, the lemon flavor was just ok; the apple and watermelon flavors were much better! Tasty slushy-like crushed ice with flavor syrups, served so cold that the cup immediately begins to sweat? Sign me up! The texture was so smooth, so easy to eat! I love the way the ice melts ad you eat and you're left with a perfect mouthful of syrup & flavored ice. I think - while there's room here for both institutions - Del's still has the edge with my tastebuds, because of their tart pieces of lemon rind. No real fruit flavorings here. Still, the flavor options at Mr Lemon are superior since there's an actual choice. Customer service is so friendly too! It was busy when we came, but no line since things moved fast. As with Del's, remember to turn your cup periodically to avoid ending up with a solid lump of ice in the middle, and finish your serving before driving away or the separation of the juice/syrup from the hardening ice changes everything, and not for the better. Also, these cups are a teeny bit thin for the larger sizes; they got out of shape/bent before we finished. Minor point - we loved it anyway! ”
